A-1 Elevator Inspection, Inc. - Elevator Inspections Done Right
Company Overview
A-1 Elevator Inspection, Inc is a non-bias,
state-wide vertical transportation inspection company. We say non-bias
partially because we have, since our establishment in July 2000, focused on contracting
directly with elevator owners and representatives and not with elevator service
companies for annual inspections and safety test witnessing. We feel
maintaining this business model protects us from the pressure to overlook
violations for the sake of business.
We carry high limits of liability insurance and all necessary licensing including a
Registered Elevator Company license (REC 251).
We currently have 8 QEI and CEI licensed inspectors,
and perform inspections and witnessing on over 3,500 units a year. All of our
inspectors have extensive backgrounds in the elevator industry and have been
field trained on proper inspection procedures by our company upon initial
hiring. Also, all of our inspectors have had at least two years of experience
in performing inspections and a few have been Qualified Elevator Inspectors for over 15 years.
A-1 provides each of its inspectors a labeled
company vehicle, labeled shirts, and business cards so that a clean professional
image is presented at all times. Also in keeping with this image, all of our
inspectors are employees of A-1 and not independent contractors.
A-1 also boasts a knowledgeable
office staff to ensure we are always available for scheduling, documentation
and anything else that we can assist with during the inspection process. They
are able to ease the Certificate of Operation renewal process by coordinating
with your elevator maintenance company and the Bureau of Elevator Safety.
We'll be your partner in code compliance.
